You have to think, ideate and demonstrate an innovative solution for any product design concept for this competition. You will create product concept which will help People and Planets to solve current and future problems.
Areas and fields:
The entire competition will be online and students from Degree of Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics (Mainly Related to Mechanical Engineering Branch);
Entry Type: Individual (No team entry allowed)
Entry Fees: Free
Present your creative ideas in form of 2 Dimensional or 3 Dimensional sketch drawings and try to explain it in 1000 words, give the title up to 10 words and submit online in form of two JPEG images having maximum size of 2mb.
Upload max two images of your entry. The intention of the visual sketch is to illustrate the idea (a hand drawing and sketches or a computer generated image, both are accepted at the first stage). The images should be clearer and visually appealing (even you can use of colouring to your ideas to show more visually appealing)

50 best design concepts/ideas will get selected for first phase and uploaded on website. UDLAB & EDRLAB design experts will guide and mentor all 50 short-listed students for visualisation phase submission.

Best 20 entries will be selected for visualisation phase; EDR design team will guide best 20 entries for final phase submission. All 20 designs will be uploaded and showcase on our website.
[20 Selected will announced on 19th April 2016 and meeting with Design Expert on 23rd April 2016 and they need to submit updated entry by 27th May 2016]
Voting line will be open for final selection consideration and Jury will select the winner based on performance evaluation and voting.
[From 27th April 2016 voting line will be open up to 27th May 2016. And from 27th May to 9th June 2016 Final Jury]
Winners will be announced on website.
